ADOPTION
REFERRAL INFORMATION SERVICE

Purpose: To offer information about Orthodox and
Non-Orthodox adoption agencies.
COMPASSIONATE SUPPORT GROUP
Contact: Deacon Danial Doss, 630-252-5967, Helen or Merri Fefles, 708-448-3348, Deanne Savide, 708-923-1017,
or Diana Bezanis 708-974-4133
Purpose: To bring people together who are grieving,
especially those who have lost a loved one.
Activities: Support gatherings are held twice a month on
Mondays at 7pm in the school building. This ministry also hosts an
annual “Memorial & Christmas Fellowship”. GOLDEN CIRCLE
Contact: Members of “Philoptochos” and “Agia Paraskevi”
Membership open to: All senior citizens.
Purpose: To bring seniors together for worship, fellowship
and fun.
Activities: Programs are planned monthly at various
churches under the coordination of the Hellenic Foundation and Hellenic
Family and Community Services.
HOSPITAL / NURSING HOME /
SHUT-IN MINISTRY
Contact: Father Nick, Father Byron and Father Panteleimon.
Purpose: To reach out and offer God's healing touch to the
ill, infirm and aged. Visitations are made by the clergy and also
periodically by our various organizations.
ORTHODOX CHRISTIANS FOR
LIFE

Purpose: To witness our Church's teachings in all areas
concerning the Sanctity of Life.
Participation: This is open to all. We participate
with Orthodox Christians from all jurisdictions.
Activities: Parish Meetings & Activities; Monthly Regional
Meetings; Car Wash; March for Life in Washington, DC; Sanctity of Life
Sunday; Life Chain; Speak Out Illinois; and much more..

PROJECT DIAKONIA

Purpose: "Project Diakonia" is a ministry that brings
together all of the parish’s philanthropic activities and programs for
the purpose of:
- Educating parishioners about the
program.
- Encouraging involvement in the
program.
- Raising funds for these
programs.
